Did I miss this post? Okay, so I did comment above. I must have done a quick read at that time and not have gotten the most out of the article.

I am still not sure of what are the best options for monetizing a website. You at least give me some interesting choices to look in to.

Currently I am keeping away from Ad-sense until I have build up a decent amount of traffic.

There are other ways(Apart from the Usual Adsense) to make money out there, though, it takes time to do thorough research before diving in.

My website generates over 1 million pageviews per month and I’m running Value Click ads on the site. The CPM rate is very low, ranging from $0.07 to $0.2 per 1000 impressions. We are also working with Technorati Media adnetwork and the CPM rate is better than Value Click but still, Google Adsense is still the best.

Very comprehensive dissertation. Might take a newbie like me a while to digest it all so it’s bookmarked for return visits. Much has been written on these website related topics post Panda so it’s always rewarding to come across well researched articles like this one.

I particularly noted the section on banners since I read elsewhere quite recently that Google slapped websites that had an excessive number of banner ads relative to content (valuable text).

I actually only stumbled upon this site while reading another blog this morning so will be coming back to look for other articles to help me develop my affiliate sites. Also signed for the newsletter and now I’m off to check out those WP themes.

Great list of resources – I think as Google adapts its algorithm post-Panda update, it’s going to be more important how you choose to monetize and promote your website. I believe some recent findings from an SEO company found that site with Adsense, for example, tended to perform worse in SERPs than similar sites without Adsense. Could be lots of factors, but interesting nonetheless. Thanks again for the post.

I didn’t know how to make a web site previously, but then I got a programme in which I learnt and got my site at number one on page one. But Google has changed its algorithm and knocked my site out of range. But after a couple of weeks of tweaking and pruning it is dancing between page one and five.

Would love to have it stay on page one at positions 1, 2 or 3. Not sure if the posts prior to March still have any weight taking into consideration the changes Google has made.

Daniel, I agree with Saul. This is a very good list! It would even be a good one to bookmark for future reference.

Wow, this is the best list of monetization ideas I’ve seen thus far. Although making money online is possible, I’ve found that building sites for local products and services that have high profit margins works best for me because it’s oftentimes a lot less competitive than fighting the folks who are selling products online or trying to get hundreds of thousands of visitors to their site.

I believe that SEO should be always at the top of the list. when done correctly, you can enjoy free targeted traffic for months even years in some cases from a single buying keyword. Once you know the secret on how it all works, the sky is the limit.

In my opinion nothing beats SEO. PPC, PPV CPA will drain your pocket before you can realize a serious profits. I say if you like those techniques go for it, but you will be doing better if you sent post cards in direct marketing, at least the conversion rate is much higher. But nothing beats “Free”and “Targeted”and “Plenty of it”

It depends a lot on the niche of the website. For certain websites is the best option, for other websites is just a waste of time.

I think it’s very helpful out look for us who wish to use the internet in way’s of trying to make an income. I also think that the information which has been kindly offered here should be saved and studied very carefully, so that it will make an impacted. Hello Razmi, You can turn your blogs into cash by using google adsense. You may not make a lot but you’ll earn some. You can also use them to promote clickbank products or an ebook that you create yourself.

Very comprehensive list. Added to my bookmarks for return reference. It is good to have such a big list of choices, however, only a few can be selected to be used on a website. Otherwise, it becomes way to cluttered. I find some sites just too busy with not only content but lots of ads from different ad networks.

Well i am not trying to hide things from others but the blog writer told you all at max,therefor just try to read what he said and process that to start working on your website which contain the subject line as follows:-
Make money from home,home base job,work on internet,paid survey,make money on a website, or last but not least you can also work this method on site with selling products from click bank or sharesale.

Make money on a website is not big task you just need to learn to earn.

You will probably not get around working. If you don’t have the time to do it yourself you can always outsource. There are many places like fiverr.com, Rentacoder.com, Elance.com, Problogger.net for smaller jobs.
For ongoing action you could hire employees abroad.

Joel Peterson and John Chow are successful outsourcers I know of.
You might consider contacting them.
